In Persona 3 Reload, Tartarus is a towering dungeon filled with enemies called shadows. These creatures will attempt to stop you from reaching the top of the tower. Every few floors will reveal a mini-boss known as a Gatekeeper, which will test your skill and strength. If you defeat them, you can move forward.

PostsThe Appropriating Noble is one such boss, but they're not alone. The Invasive Serpents that flank it make this battle much harder, but with the right strategy, you can defeat them. Here's everything you need to know to emerge victorious and ascend to the next floor.
Appropriating Noble Overview
As you reach floor 246, Fuuka alerts you to a new gatekeeper. This time, it's one Appropriating Noble and two Invasive Serpents. These make for a devious duo that will send your party running if you're not prepared.
Thankfully, each of these shadows has a weakness, so this fight doesn't have to be difficult if you lan accordingly. Here's a breakdown of both shadows' affinities and abilities so you can know what to expect:

Best Party Composition
Your ideal party members are Mitsuru, Akihiko, and Yukari. Make sure to leave Koromaru out, otherwise his weakness to Light will hinder him. Below is a breakdown of the roles each member will play:
- Mitsuru Kirijo. Mitsuru has access to Status Ailment skills and Bufudyne. She can hit the Appropriating Noble's weakness and take advantage of Stagnant Air.
- Akihiko Sanada. Akihiko can use Strike through Physical skills and melee attacks, allowing him to target the Invasive Serpents' weakness.
- Yukari Takeba. Yukari takes a supporting role, curing poison with Amrita Shower or other abilities and items whenever possible. She also acts as a healer.
How To Beat Appropriating Noble
At the start of combat, Appropriating Noble will sap half of your SP. This allows it to fuel its own attacks, so be prepared. The two serpent shadows should be eliminated as soon as possible. They only serve to poison the party, debuff your attacks, and sap your SP.
You can also use All-Out Attacks and each party member's Theurgy to take large chucks of HP from each enemy. This fight doesn't have to take long if you focus on targeting each shadow's weakness, initiating an All-Out Attack, rinse and repeat.
Make sure to shift between party members to maximize efficiency!
When poisoned, make sure to cure it as soon as possible. When poisoned, you won't be able to use All-Out Attacks, and you'll continue to take damage each turn.
The battle will wrap up after a few turns, if all goes according to plan, and you'll move on to the next floor of Tartarus.
