Attacks and Skills

Heat Riser

The boss will increase its attack, defense, accuracy, and evasion for 3 turns

Revolution

Invigorated Gigas will greatly increase the critical hit chance of everyone in the fight for 3 turrns

Gigantic Fist

This skill does heavy Strike damage to a single foe with a small chance of critting

Herculean Strike

This heavy Strike attack will hit every person on your team with a small chance of missing

Heat Wave

This is also a heavy Strike attack, but does more damage than Herculean Strike and does not have the built-in miss chance.

The floor guardian, Invigorated Gigas has no innate weaknesses, and is resistant to Ice damage, while also nullifying both Light and Dark damage.

During the fight, it will have two buffing moves,Heat Riser and Revolution, which will be used at the start of a battle. It also has three extremely powerful physical skills that have decent chances to critically hit after the boss has used Revolution.

The deadliest part about the Invigorated Gigas fight is that it can chain one powerful critical into another since two of its three attacks hit the entire party, something that will let it use multiple skills in a single turn and send your team packing. At the same time, its biggest downfall is that it only has access to attacks of a single typing, and you can use this to your advantage to make this boss fight one of the easiest in the game.

The recommended level for this fight is level 55.

Invigorated Gigas Battle Guide

The boss of the 171st floor of Tartarus is the incredibly strong Invigorated Gigas. This colossal shadow bars your entry into the next block of the game, and you must defeat it to gain entry into Harabah.

There are no teleporters in this room for you to regroup, but remember that you can now use the Escape Route skill for 24SPto return to the entrance of Tartarus, where you can save or make changes to your team composition.

When crafting a team for a fight against bosses with no weakness, you should consider team members who facilitate a buffing and debuffing strategy that maximizes physical attack critical strike chance. Thisboss would be similar if not for the fatal flaw mentioned earlier: the boss only uses Strike damage, soyou must equip the Protagonistwith a Persona that allows him to trivialize the boss's skill set.

You can bring along any other team members that you would like, but remember that they are most likely going to perish to the floor guardian’s indiscriminate strikes. Do not revive other members as it is a waste of your items.

Invigorated Gigas Hit Itself In Confusion

The second part of the Tziah Block gives the Protagonist a chance to recruit the level 45 Chariot Arcana Persona, Shiki-Ouji, whichinnately repels all Strike damage. Since the boss is only capable of hitting with Strike damaging attacks, it will be unable to do damage to the Protagonist and will only be able to deal damage to itself.

Once the battle has begun, you'll be free to just attack the boss normally every turn, and even though it will take quite a few turns, the boss will just fall over. To make the fight go by much quicker, and since there are no bosses right after this one, you should use your Jack Brothers Theurgyon the boss to do severe Almighty damage and inflict down on the boss for a follow-up All-Out Attack by your team.
