Originally, this guide was going to cover every door and its code. Unfortunately, we realized in the 25th hour that the puzzle associated with every door changes with each playthrough. Thankfully, the puzzles appear to remain the same, so we can still help you solve these puzzles!

This guide was written to suit the sensibilities of every type of player. If you want to solve most of these puzzles yourself, but are a little stuck, feel free to jump to the hints section. That being said, if you just want to throw those doors open, we've got you covered with the clear-cut solutions sections. Everyone wins!

Where To Find The Puzzles

Every puzzle associated with the shortcuts can be found in "S.C. Bolt's Number Puzzles Volume 1". This is one of the books located in the library in the first row.

Shortcut Puzzle Hints

Look, I get it, most people are probably here for the answers and the answers alone. If that's what you're after, feel free to skip to the next section, where all the door combinations are waiting for you. However, if you are just a little frustrated, but would still prefer to work this stuff out on your own, these hints will likely give you the push you need.

V+L=135, What Does L Equal?

Don't look at V and L as letters or Roman numerals. Look at them as angles.

The easiest way to solve this problem is to look at how the first two digits of each number compare to the other two digits. If that hint isn't enough, then try reading the Strobogrammatics book you can find in the library.

Once again, we need to figure out what the missing number is. What you'll find is that all the numbers present are square numbers. So, all you need to do is input the missing square number.

The increments here sorta give the game away, right? Draw out a "compass" and place the numbers on it accordingly. The numbers associated with west and east should be pretty clear. Especially if you think in terms of time.
