Invincible VS's first season of content has been officially revealed at EVO, including a bunch of premium and free skins, a new Endless Ladder mode, and a tease for the game's third DLC fighter.

Although 2026 is already proving to be a perhaps too stuffed year for great video games (even if the industry isn't reflecting that), Invincible VS still stands out as one of my personal favourites so far. VS managed to bring the vibes, gore, and charm of the series to an excellent, if a little short, fighter that I've been looking for an excuse to get back to.

Luckily for me, we already have tons of proof that the team at Quarter Up have plans to keep Invincible VS going for the foreseeable future, even if some of it was revealed before it was meant to. Now, Invincible VS Season 1 has been fully detailed during EVO 2026, and it's looking mighty packed with both free and premium content.

As you'd hope for one of the newest fighting games on the market, Invincible VS had a pretty big presence at this year's EVO Championships, culminating in a massive trailer that shared everything that's planned to come to the game during Season 1, which kicks off tomorrow, June 30.

The headliners for Season 1 include two new DLC fighters, The Immortal and Universa, who have both previously been revealed but are now almost ready to join the game properly. Skins are a big part of this first season too, with plenty of premium ones being added like the Viltrumite business outfits, as well as some highly-requested free skins like maskless Mark and Rex Splode.

Season 1 also brings with it a new Endless Ladder mode, a bunch of new unlockable customisation options for player profiles, and much more. The trailer even includes a tease for what's to come next for Invincible VS, as everyone's favourite dimension-hopping villain, Angstrom Levy, was teased at the end and will be playable at EVO France for the first time.

There's no word just yet on when Angstrom will be playable, but I have to imagine it'll be as part of Season 2 with the fourth DLC fighter.
