Starting this quest will require you to complete "Pilgrimage" first, a short side quest where you must interact with every wayshrine of the Nine Divines in Cyrodiil. These aren't marked on your map, so finding all nine of them can prove challenging. Fortunately, this guide is here to help.

What Are Wayshrines?

Wayshrines are unmarked places of worship you can find in Cyrodiil. Each wayshrine in the world is dedicated to a specific god of the Nine Divines. Interacting with one of them will grant a buff that increases your HP, Magicka, or Fatigue for ten minutes. You can interact with the shrines as often as desired to refresh this buff.

Finding each wayshrine is required for the "Pillgrimage" quest. Interacting with every unique wayshrine on the map will grant access to the Knights of the Nine faction. Access their hideout to claim their Knights of the Nine armor set as your own.

How To Start The Pilgrimage Quest

You can start the Pilgrimage quest by speaking with the chapel priest in the eastern edge of Anvil, the town located on the western edge of Cyrodiil. Speak to the prist and inquire about a series of ancient artifacts that belonged to the Knights of the Nine. This will trigger the quest. Tell the priest that you are not an experienced traveler. He'll give you a map of all the shrine locations to help you on your journey.

Wayshrine Locations

There are nine wayshrines you must find to complete this quest, all of which can be seen on The Pilgrim's Way map that the priest gave you. You can grab these wayshrines in any order; you just need to activate all nine during your playthrough.

Once you find all nine wayshrines, you'll be visited by a spirit of the Knights of the Nine faction. Listen to their speech and track the Pilgrimage quest if you haven't done so already. This will mark a hidden dungeon on your map that, when completed, will award a few pieces of the Knights of the Nine armor. Stick with the quest chain to acquire the full armor set.
