There are a lot of enemies inHollow Knight — over 150, in fact. You can encounter them pretty much anywhere in the dangerous world of Hallownest, and keeping track of all of them can be difficult. That's where the Hunter's Journal comes in, as it documents all the information about every enemy or interesting thing you come across.

This guide will go through each and every possible entry that can be put into the Hunter's Journal. It's important to keep in mind that not every single entry counts toward truly completing the journal, the signs of completion being the Keen Hunter achievement and the Hunter's Mark gifted by the Hunter himself. These increase the total number of entries to 168, though there are technically only 164 because four of those — the Hunter's Mark, the Void Idol, the Seal of Binding, and the Weathered Mask — do not increase the entry count at all.
