How To Get Cloth
There are a lot of steps to getting your hands on some cloth. The first things you will need are a Spinning Wheel and a Simple Loom.
To craft a Spinning Wheel and Loom you need to craft Basic Tailoring Tools from the Basic Carpenters Workbench. Basic Tailoring Tools will unlock the ability to craft a Spinning Wheel, Simple Loom, and Simple Tailoring Table.

Need help finding resources? Bone Fragments are dropped by killing animals. Flax Fiber is a long red grass that can be found near the water, on mountains, and in grassland.

With a Spinning Wheel crafted and placed, you will be able to use Flax Fiber to craft Coarse Linen String, Rough Linen String, and Coarse Wool Yarn. These three items, once crafted, can be taken to a Simple Loom to be turned into cloth.

How To Get Better Tier Cloth
Coarse Linen Cloth, Rough Linen Cloth, and Coarse Wool Cloth are all zero or one Tier cloths in Pax Dei. You can get better cloth material the more you progress in the game. To unlock better cloth, you need to upgrade your Tailoring skill level and discover new materials.
Leveling up your crafting skills unlocks new recipes. Collecting some new resources in the game will also unlock new recipes for you. There are seven more types of cloth you can craft.

Tier Two cloth recipes require a Tier Two Loom. The Simple Loom will not craft higher-Tier cloths.
To craft a Tier Two Loom, the first thing you need to have is the Tier Two Blacksmith Workbench unlocked.
- Unlock the next best Blacksmith Workbench by reaching Blacksmithing skill level seven.
- The Tier Two Blacksmith Workbench allows you to craft Tailoring Tools (not Simple Tailoring Tools).
- Tailoring Tools unlock the Tier Two Loom.
