Holocure is an action roguelike similar to Vampire Survivors, but instead of being themed after SNES-era Castlevania, it’s themed around the talent from vTube studio Hololive. Like any good VS-like, Holocure has an array of powerful weapons to drive back the foes that assail you, which in turn can be evolved into more powerful weapons, here known as Collabs.

PostsCollabs are created when you power up two compatible weapons to level seven and find a Golden Anvil to combine them. Some Collabs can be further upgraded to Super Collabs (indicated below) when combined with an Item. But which Collabs control the battlefield the best? Here are the best Collabs in Holocure, ranked.
8 BL Fujoshi
- Weapon 1: Psycho Axe
- Weapon 2: BL Book
- Super Collab: N/A
A reliable, if basic weapons, made from two decent but not spectacular weapons. Though its damage numbers aren’t impressive, what is impressive is the uptime. As soon as you build this, it’s pretty much always going, so you won’t have to worry about things like Haste, since there’s effectively no delay.
The coverage of BL Fujoshi is also quite nice, going out to constantly damage more than a third of the screen. It should be noted that there’s a space between the Axes and the Books, but it’s a small deadzone that is largely nullified by moving around. Also, keep in mind that the Axes do more damage than the books.
7 I’m Die, Thank You Forever
- Weapon 1: X-Potato
- Weapon 2: Holo Bomb
- Super Collab: N/A
In addition to having the best name in the game, I’m Die, Thank You Forever is also quite fun to use, having quirks that no other weapons have. Unlike others, this one throws out a low-damage bomb that persists on the battlefield.
When thrown directly at, or picked up by an enemy, the bomb attaches itself. When that enemy is defeated, the bomb explodes, dealing some nice damage across the whole screen. Multiple bombs can be deployed, which can lead to some nice daisy-chain explosions.
6 Idol Concert
- Weapon 1: Glowstick
- Weapon 2: Idol Song
- Super Collab: Idol Live - with Idol Costume
A dazzling display of colors, Idol Concert is almost as useful as it is fun to watch. This attack periodically throws out colorful glow sticks in eight directions, striking enemies as they fly out. When they fly a certain distance, they explode in musical notes that deal major damage.
Since the explosions don’t happen until the glowsticks fly to the edge of the screen, this Collab isn’t great for close-range defense, but pretty much guarantees that anything that’s not a boss is battered when it gets to you — if they get to you at all.
5 Absolute Wall
- Weapon 1: Bounce Ball
- Weapon 2: Cutting Board
- Super Collab: N/A
This is one of the best defensive weapons in the game and has the potential to preserve runs that might otherwise be lost. Absolute Wall surrounds you on all sides with four walls that have high knockback, sending enemies away when you walk into them.

PostsSome enemies can get by the knockback, so you’ll still need to pay attention, but you can mitigate this greatly by staying on the move. A valuable trick to know is that the walls move with your facing, which you can use to get multiple knockback procs on particularly persistent enemies.
4 Eldritch Horror
- Weapon 1: EN's Curse
- Weapon 2: Spider Cooking
- Super Collab: N/A
Eldritch Horror is a jack-of-all-trades Collab with powerful offensive, defensive, and utility applications. This Collab spawns a massive whirlpool of darkness that damages and slows all enemies in its vicinity. Any enemies defeated in the whirlpool have a chance to heal you for five percent of your max health.
This might not seem like much, but if you keep in mind how many enemies you take down at a time, you’ll notice that it can add up, keeping you topped off against larger waves. This Collab works especially well with melee Idols, slowing the tide of enemies approaching you and allowing you to cut them down with impunity.
3 MiComet
- Weapon 1: Elite Laval Bucket
- Weapon 2: Psycho Axe
- Super Collab: N/A
MiComet is a good combination of unreliable bursts of high damage in a smaller area and decent, long-lasting damage over a larger area. Periodically, three powerful meteors strike the battlefield, dealing big damage to any enemies caught in the blast, and leaving pools of lava in their wake.
Though the lava deals less damage than the meteors, it’s not exactly a slouch, often finishing off enemies not defeated in the initial impact and dealing good damage to the ones who walk into the lava pools.
2 Snow Flower Sake
- Weapon 1: Glowstick
- Weapon 2: Wamy Water
- Super Collab: Snow Queen - with Sake
A source of some big damage and some deceptively strong crowd control, Snow Flower Sake is one of the best Collabs in the game. It throws out several bottles that deal good damage when striking enemies, but also explodes into a snowflake shape for some really great damage over a larger area.

PostsEnemies have a 30 percent chance to be frozen for two seconds and take more damage if they’re caught in the blast. While not exactly reliable, you’re likely to freeze more than a few enemies and more importantly, this effect is also applicable to bosses.
1 Dragon Fire
- Weapon 1: Fan Beam
- Weapon 2: Plug Type Asacoco
- Super Collab: Holy Fire - with Gorilla Grip
Dragon Fire is one of the strongest weapons in the game, Collab or otherwise, and is really only topped by its Super Collab, Holy Fire. It also has the lowest per-shot damage of any weapon in Holocure. How does it accomplish this? Firing rate.
This weapon spits a thin, constant, and rapidly hitting flame in whatever direction you’re facing. It also has a little knockback to make sure that anything that isn’t a boss is defeated or far away. This Collab is effective on any Idol, but is particularly potent on ones with Skills that proc on-hit effects.
