PostsIn this guide, we are going to take a look at every event in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, as well as when it occurs. It's important to note that the exact date can vary from year to year, but based on the previous year's event, we can get an estimation of when it will occur for the following year.
What Are Events?
CloseBefore diving into all the events in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, let's go over what they are. Similar to many other live-service games, events are time-limited activities that typically provide new items or materials for you to gather.
During an event, you'll typically get daily rewards when you log into the game. For example, when logging in during the Luck and Lanterns Celebration, you could get relevant clothing items, as well as things like Strawberry Crates.
Events also typically have their own currency. This currency can be obtained through quests, gathering, or speaking with characters. With enough currency, you may even be able to trade it in at a special kiosk near the plaza in the Seaside Resort.
Overall, events can vary, but when it starts, you'll always get a brief rundown of what is happening. For example, rather than just seeing Lovebugs and a new habitat on the island in February without any explanation, Chococat explained to us that the Hugs and Hearts festival involves capturing these bugs and placing them in the habitat in exchange for themed furniture.
Event Types
There are a few event types that you'll encounter, which we've described in the table below. Most events that happen will either be primary or secondary, so there will always be something to do!

Description
Primary
These are 'main events' that last for several weeks.
These events have a currency that you can trade at the Seaside Resort plaza.
Secondary
These are slightly shorter than primary events.
You can still trade in currency, but it's typically at a stand off to the side of the plaza.
Daily Calendar
These events don't have any real participation; it's just daily gifts from a calendar.

These are super short events that happen over just a few days.
