How To Unlock Bubble Gems
Unlocking Bubble Gems requires you to follow a few steps.
- Open the Map Menu.
- Go to Customization.
- Choose Foamstars Customize.
- Pick a character.
- Scroll down to Bubble Gem Set.
- Pick one of the three Bubble Gem Sets.
- Choose which slot you want to fill with a Bubble Gem.
- Spend Energy Stones to get a random Bubble Gem.
How To Gain Energy Stones
You'll gain Energy Stones in three ways: increasing your Player Level, reaching the last Season Pass tier, or paying for them. For the Player Level, you'll gain Experience Points by playing matches in Versus and Mission modes.
You'll get more Experience Points by winning matches and the length of matches.
You'll gain 25 Energy Stones every five Player Levels.
As for the Season Pass, the main rewards make up the first 40 tiers. Once you unlock them, all future tiers, for the free and premium versions, will give you three Energy Stones.
As for the last one, you can go to the Standard Shop and spend money to get Energy Stones.
How Bubble Gem Sets Work
You can create three Bubble Gem Sets per character. Each Set lets you equip three Bubble Gems to it, with the first slot costing one Energy Stone, the second costing two, and the third costing three.
You'll select the slot and receive a random Bubble Gem. It will then compare the new Bubble Gem to the old one previously in the slot and let you decide if you should take the new one or keep the old one.
Each time you do this, the corresponding Bubble Gem and grade will be grayed out, meaning you won't re-roll it. This lets you keep going until you get the Bubble Gem you want.
The bottom-right corner will tell you how many rolls you have until the next one is a guaranteed S-rank Bubble Gem. The price also corresponds to the slot, so if you want to re-roll the third slot, you need to spend three Energy Stones.
You can't have the same Bubble Gem type in each slot. This means your Bubble Gem Set can't have an S-rank Lower Skill Cooldowns Bubble Gem with an A-rank one.
You can do this with your three Bubble Gem Sets and choose whichever one you want to use before a match starts.
If you make too many Bubble Gems at once, you'll have to wait 15 minutes to make more.
