One of the best things in Disney Dreamlight Valley is seeing how all the different Disney and Pixar characters interact with each other. Heroes and villains live together in harmony, but some of them need more work than others. One villain, like Jafar, will take a good deal of effort to bring into the village.

Posts 1However, everyone is given a second chance in Dreamlight Valley, including Jafar! There are plenty of new rewards to unlock based around Jafar's interests, if you needed more reasons to welcome him. We'll guide you every step of the way to unlock him as a villager and befriend him.
Jafar is only available with the A Rift In Time Expansion Pass.

How To Unlock Jafar
The first step to unlocking Jafar is to complete all of the story-related quests in Eternity Isle. This means you'll need to have defeated Jafar once and for all by trapping him inside the lamp.
After he's sealed away, you'll need to free him from the lamp. However, the necessary quest won't appear right away. You'll have to do some sleuthing to begin the quest titled The Lesser Evil.
In this quest, you'll need to have Jafar's Lamp in your inventory.
Explore the Glittering Dunes until you find a 2D cactus. Pick it up and show it to Oswald. Afterward, you'll need to find another 2D object in both the Wild Tangle and Ancient's Landing. Merlin can help you research them, but you'll need to search the palace for Jafar's notes.
Collecting all three notes in the laboratory will help Merlin figure out what to do.
With the notes in hand, Merlin sends you to the Cave of Wonders to place Jafar's Lamp on the pedestal at the heart of the cave. Using your Royal Hourglass, interact with the lamp to free Jafar. Speak with him to conclude the quest and unlock Jafar as a villager.
Jafar will send you a letter telling you that he will remain inside the palace on Eternity Isle.
How To Unlock More Of Jafar's Quests
As you spend time with Jafar, your friendship level will increase. At different intervals, Jafar will have a new quest for you to complete. Increasing your friendship with him intentionally is the best way to unlock all of these quests quickly!
When you reach level ten, you'll unlock Jafar's final quest, which will reward you with his best friend attire upon completion!
Playing Scramblecoin, giving him his favorite gifts, and hanging out with him will build your relationships. Talking with him daily as well will slowly increase your friendship.
Jafar's Friendship Rewards
In addition to unlocking more quests, you'll also earn rewards for each level you raise. Jafar's rewards are themed around him and include furniture, motifs, Star Coins, and clothing.
