Portal: Revolution - Chapter Eight - The Remote Execution Walkthrough

While it's the shortest section, Portal: Revolution, the game-sized Portal 2 mod, goes out with a bang through one final battle between the human and the other forces at work inside Aperture. You will need to use everything they've learned up to this point to get through the last two sections of this game.

Follow this walkthrough to complete the penultimate chapter in Portal: Revolution.
PostsWhile one of the easier sections, the final battle can be confusing, and it's easy to run out of time given the number of tasks you have to complete in order. To prevent you from having to do so, just think about what has worked in previous chapters and apply it to Chapter Eight.
Mutual Betrayal
Go along the available path and the door in front of you will close once you get close enough. Once the Blue Personality Sphere opens the wall on the right, shoot one portal inside and the other in the room with you to get through. Continue straight along the railed path through the circular door.
Continue on the railed walkway through another door that opens into an energy field. Go through and shoot one portal on the high wall to the right and one on the ground directly underneath it. Go through and then fall through the portal on the ground. If your higher portal is in the right place, this should launch you across the gap.
You may need to move your higher portal if it is getting blocked by the metal framework when you launch yourself.
Once across, continue walking until you get to a pipe that is moving gel. Just before it, there's a grated vent on that side of the wall. Shoot one portal on the wall through it and the other on the wall near where you came in. In the next room, look up past the top of the tube and shoot one portal there and the other behind you. Go through.
In the next section, shoot a portal through the fan and one on the wall across from it in the room you're in. Go through and land on the bottom white floor. Shoot a portal on the wall and one on the floor underneath, launching yourself to the level just above you. Once there, shoot a portal near the edge closest to where you came from and one on the ground below.
Jump through the portal and, as soon as you go through, start holding the button in the direction of the platform. If successful, you'll move enough to land on the next section. After that, shoot a portal on the opposite edge of where you came from. Then, turn around, shoot a portal through the rectangular hole into the ground, then jump through.
As with the previous part, move slightly to the side to land on the highest level platform in the room. Next, go through the door to the side and into a room with a large pit of molten liquid. Shoot a portal high onto the wall near where you came in, then go back into the other room and shoot the opposite color on the ground as you fall through.
If the portal is blocked by the pipe, you may fall into the lava and have to restart this section.
Once you've been launched across, press the button hanging from the ceiling to close the floor above the liquid. Then, shoot one portal directly under the pipe and the other on the floor in the other room as you go through it. Move to the side to land in the room and end this section.
Finale (Part One)
Once the next section loads, you'll need to wait for Blue to stop talking and then catch her when she falls from the railing. Go into the Spire Control Room from earlier through the door and stand near the button in the middle of the room. Wait for Stirling to finish talking, then take Blue to the claw in the corner of the room.
Wait for the claw to fully drop and open before placing Blue inside, otherwise you may face a glitch.
Once your hands are free, press the big red button to begin the final battle. The door on the right will open after Stirling activates the five-minute timer. Go through the door and energy field before dropping through the window to the lower level. Go through the door that opens into the Spire's Core.
Shoot one portal on the wall close to you and one across the way to the platform near the button. Take the cube through the portal and place it on the button. Drop down and go through the now-opened door before stepping on the launcher.
Go into the control room after you make it across and shoot one portal on the ground. Next, peek around the corner to shoot a portal behind the turret on the right. Drop through and knock over the turret from the side. Shoot a portal behind the turret right next to it and the other color behind you. Grab it and throw it to deactivate.
Now you can run along the left-side of the room's wall and knock over the last turret. Once you're alone, shoot a portal on the wall where you came in and one on the ground. Go through and then fall into the portal on the ground, launching yourself to the railed platform. Press the red button to be halfway done with the shutdown.
Finale (Part Two)
Once the door to the second chamber opens, go back through and shoot a portal on the wall in front of you and one on the high wall near where you started. Go through and shoot one portal on the wall near the cube button and the other on the platform with the launcher from earlier. Take the cube through and put it on the button.
Make note of the color portal near the button and then step on the launcher. Once you've landed, shoot the opposite color cube of the one near the cube and pull it through. Place the cube on the button, which will activate the tractor beam. Shoot one portal underneath and the other on the high wall near where you came in.
Ride the tractor beam all the way until the Control Room Three platform, then move slightly out of the beam to fall onto it. Go through the door and energy field into the next room. Drop down and peek around the corners, using the walls as cover, and shoot a portal behind the turret on the second level. Go through and knock it over.
Next, shoot a portal behind the turret in front of you and one near you, so you can reach through and grab it. Drop it on the turret just below the platform to disable both quickly. Next, shoot one portal on the ground and one high on the wall. Go through the bottom portal and fall through again to launch yourself to the button. Press it to remove the tube on this side.
You may need to move your portal to get a good launch, but landing on the servers next to it allows you to simply jump onto the platform.
Use portals to go back through the door you came in and shoot a portal on the wall behind the turret on the new platform. Go back into the room and shoot the other color on the wall before reaching through and grabbing the turret. You can either knock it over or throw it into the energy field where you came from.
Go back through the portal and shoot the other color behind the other turret. Go through again and knock it over to disable it. Go to the edge and shoot a portal near the high wall where you started and the other near you. Follow previous steps to take the cube to the tractor beam and then go inside it again.
Keep in mind which portal is under the tractor beam while you travel and move out of the beam when you get to the platform. Run to the side with the slanted wall and shoot the portal that's not under the tractor beam under the slanted wall. Step inside to lift yourself high into the air.
Once you're high up, shoot the portal under the tractor beam dispenser on the slanted wall. This should allow you to fall through the portal and be launched across the room into the final section. Go through the door and energy field. Peek through the window and shoot a portal behind the turret and the other color behind you. Go through and knock over the turret.
Next, go back through the portal and peek behind the pipe to knock over the turret. If you pick it up, you can use it as a shield as you move back towards the pipe. Shoot a portal behind the final turret and go through to knock it over. Then, shoot one portal above the grated area and one on the ground. Go through.
Standing on the grated area, walk and jump into a color on the ground to launch yourself across to the final button. Press it to end the game.
