It's time to deck your Free Company house halls with boughs of holly as the Starlight Celebration has returned to Final Fantasy 14. This year, there's a new festive outfit that's just begging to be your newest glamour, as well as a brand new furnishing to get your hands on.

Do you want to try PvP in another way? This new mode is perfect for beginners.

This event lasts from today until December 31, 2023 at 6.59am PST/14:39 GMT, so be sure to complete it before then and earn your rewards before it's too late. Here's everything you need to know about the event.

'Blue Starlight' Seasonal Quest Walkthrough

You can begin the new seasonal event by speaking to the Bearded Lady at (X:10.2, Y:9.4) in Old Gridania and accepting the 'Blue Starlight' quest.

After the cutscene, you need to speak to the following NPCs in Old Gridania:

(X:8.2, Y: 7.5)

Next, speak to Saulinne at (X:9.6, Y:8.6) in Old Gridania, then go to (X:4.8, Y: 7.3) and speak to her again for another cutscene.

Return to Amh Garanjy (the Bearded Lady) at (X:10.2, Y:9.4) to complete the quest and earn yourself the following:

• Unorthodox Saint's Cap
• Unorthodox Saint's Halfrobe
• Unorthodox Saint's Gloves
• Unorthodox Saint's Bottoms
• Unorthodox Saint's Longboots

You'll notice you haven't unlocked the seasonal achievement, and that's because there's yet another quest to complete...

'Together At A Distance' Seasonal Quest Walkthrough

Speak to Amh Garanjy at (X:10.2, Y:9.4) to begin the 'Together at a Distance' seasonal quest.

You then need to equip all of your Unorthodox Saint's gear before you can speak with her again.

Go and speak to Tenny at (X:4.7, Y:7.3) in Old Gridania, then travel to Ul'dah and deliver gifts to the following NPCs:

(X:11.4, Y:11.2) Ul'dah - Steps of Thal

Othuel

(X:12.7, Y:13.3) Ul'dah - Steps of Thal

Return to Tenny at (X:4.7, Y:7.3) in Old Gridania and hand over the gift.

Go back to Amh Garanjy at (X:10.2, Y:9.4) to complete the quest and earn the 'Weaving a Bond' achievement.

How To Get The Illuminated Topiary Chocobo

Unlike some previous events, you do not need to complete the seasonal quest in order to make the vendor sell their wares. This vendor is available to all players, regardless of whether they have completed this year's quests.
