Final Fantasy 14 Fans Are Already Fed Up With Moogle Tomestone Duties

Summary
- Final Fantasy 14's next Moogle Treasure Trove event is underway, yet players are already complaining about the frequency of certain dungeons and raids.
- Most of the complaints appear to be aimed at the event's inclusion of the Crystal Tower series in the event, as players struggle to queue for other Alliance Raids.
- Players are now suggesting that Square Enix introduce Moogle roulette for the event, or to add Tomestones to Leveling and High-Level Dungeon roulettes instead.
Final Fantasy 14's first Moogle Treasure Trove event post Dawntrail is now live, bringing with it a bunch of cool cosmetics, mounts, and many other sought-after prizes. All you have to do is complete either challenges or the designated dungeons/raids to earn special Tomestones to exchange with Moogles for that sweet loot. That's pretty neat, but it's not neat for players that aren't that interested in the event, especially those trying to queue for different Alliance Raids.
One of those players is Reddit user Liktarios, who recently shared an image with one of the many Final Fantasy 14 subreddits of them waiting in a queue for The Ridorana Lighthouse Alliance Raid that managed to exceed 80 minutes. Along with the image, Liktarios blames the ongoing Moogle Treasure Trove event for the issues, as the Crystal Tower Alliance Raids are the ones that reward players with Moogle Tomestones.
Final Fantasy 14 Fans Are Already Fed Up With Moogle Tomestone Duties
They express the wish that these Moogle Tomestone events "involved duties that need help with queues", and their comment has garnered sympathy among other Final Fantasy 14 players. For example, another user called Liana_de_Arc claims that they're considering "just not running Alliance Raids" at the moment due to the frequency of Crystal Tower popping up, and wishes that they could blacklist certain duties.

Posts 1Most of the blame primarily lies at the feet of Square Enix putting Alliance Raids in rotation for each Moogle Treasure Trove event instead of actually prioritizing the duties that need players. You can find a lot of players in the replies to Liktarios annoyed that Square Enix has included Crystal Tower in the rotation at all, considering they don't really need that much help to fill in the first place, especially when compared with Alliance Raids like Ivalice.
In fact, a lot of players call on Square Enix to introduce a special Moogle roulette for people that want to spam dungeons and raids for Tomestone, or to just include Moogle Tomestones in the Leveling roulette and High-Level Dungeon roulette instead. It would definitely give people a reason to start doing the latter at the very least.
