PostsThe Knapsack Fashion Accessory was added to the game in Patch 6.55, offering a large backpack for your character to wear, similar to the one Erenville carries. If you're looking for that well-traveled adventurer look, the Knapsack is an essential item to get. Below, we'll take a look at how to get this Fashion Accessory, and how to use it.
How To Get The Knapsack Fashion Accessory
The Knapsack is a Fashion Accessory that you can get in the 6.55 Main Scenario Quests. To get this item, you'll need to complete the three quests added in Patch 6.55, titled 'When One Door Closes...', 'The Game Is Afoot', and 'The Coming Dawn'. The Knapsack is awarded after watching (or skipping) the final cutscene in 'The Coming Dawn'.
If you were caught up in the Main Scenario before Patch 6.55, you'll just have these three quests to get through. If you watch all the cutscenes, it should take around an hour and a half to complete them, with the second quest 'The Game Is Afoot' taking up a majority of that time.
In this quest, you'll enter a duty with your new companion, Wuk Lamat, and hunt a beast in the Aetherfont. There are several cutscenes that play throughout this quest, and the game will even warn you beforehand to set aside sufficient time to play through it.
Once you've completed 'The Coming Dawn' and obtained the Knapsack, use the item from your inventory to add it to your Fashion Accessories list. In this menu, you can see and use any Fashion Accessories you've obtained so far. Using the Knapsack will have it appear on your back, and it will stay equipped, even if you change maps, change Jobs, or log out.
Fashion Accessories are unequipped when you enter a Duty, but will be automatically reequipped when you exit the Duty.
