The series' arrival on Steam last week has a lot to do with that, coupled with Kingdom Hearts fans always wanting Kingdom Hearts merch, new game or not. Arranged by foreteller, The Ocean Between was released in 2023 and has finally found its way onto Amazon. The artist started piecing together the collection of lo-fi Kingdom Hearts music at the start of the pandemic, spurred on by the need for people to find different ways to relax more than ever before.

The Ocean Between includes lo-fi versions of ten tracks spread across the Kingdom Hearts series and yes, Simple And Clean is on there. In fact, it's the opening track. There's a real mix of popular songs and deep cuts on there as foreteller has pulled from every corner of the Kingdom Hearts universe. Tracks from every main game in the series so far, but also some themes from 358/2 Days and Birth By Sleep thrown in there for good measure.

The only downside to ordering The Ocean Between through Amazon is how long you'll have to wait for it to arrive. It's a pre-order situation and the vinyl won't be released until September 20, 2024. There's a silver lining if you can't wait that long, though. As noted, volume two of the Kingdom Hearts lo-fi collection was released in 2023. That means not only can you buy it at Materia and get it sooner, but the store on which the soundtrack originally launched also has the same lo-fi OST available on CD or cassette tape if you'd prefer them over the vinyl version.
