Updated on June 24, 2024: With some new foraging items added since the launch of Fae Farm between the two DLCs, Coasts of Croakia and Skies of Azoria, we're updating our Fae Farm foraging guide to include the new goods and give everything a fresh coat of paint.
Foraging, Explained
As you go about your daily life in Fae Farm, completing quests for the locals or expanding your Homestead slowly but surely, you'll definitely notice assorted plants on the ground. These are the game's foraging items, and picking them up will directly boost your farmer's Foraging skill.
Foraging items can be any kind of plant you see out and about, but they'll primarily be herbs, berries, shells, mushrooms, flowers, and more, depending on where you are. When something is a collectible, you'll see the option to pick it up as your farmer runs over it. Simply collecting these items from the ground boosts the skill, as does chopping down grasses with your Scythe.
Additionally, your foraging items are useful in recipes of all kinds - primarily Food and Drink, but they can also be processed for assorted Potion recipes. The items you've collected will be tracked in the Forage tab of the Almanac.
These items cycle in and out seasonally as you progress through the game, so be sure to collect everything you can, while you can!
