It might not quite feel like it yet, but winter is almost over and spring is right around the corner. That means Epic's Winter Sale must also come to an end. If you've been holding off on picking up some of its triple-A bargains, or this is the first you're hearing of a sale that includes significant price cuts to some very big games, you have until the early hours of Monday morning to make the most of it before it's too late.

The best part about picking games up for less right after the holidays is it tends to be the quietest time of year in terms of new releases. The chance to pick up some games you missed and grab them for a lot less than everyone else. 2025's release wheel has already started to pick up speed, so if you have had half an eye on something like Dragon Age: The Veilguard, grab it now while it's on sale and before your plate fills back up with new games.

The Veilguard is one of the best deals available on the Epic Games Store right now. Even though the newest game in the series is still less than four months old, a 40 percent price cut in Epic's Winter Sale brings its price down from $60 to just $35.99. If 2024 titles you missed are what you're after, Star Wars Outlaws is on sale too. A $70 game when full price, you can currently go on Ubisoft's adventure set in a galaxy far, far away for $41.99.

Don't believe what you've heard. Outlaws is a great Star Wars game. The chance to hang out with Nix alone is worth $42.

There are plenty of big games up for grabs in the Epic Winter Sale for those of you whose backlogs run deeper than the past 12 months. Red Dead Redemption 2, inarguably one of the greatest games ever made, has one of the deepest discounts of all. The Ultimate Edition of Rockstar's cowboy sequel remains $100 to this day. That's unless you buy it through the Epic Games Store before Monday morning and get it for $19.99 while it's 80 percent off.

If a deep game that will keep you invested in its fictional world is what you're after, Epic currently has Cyberpunk 2077 for $26.99, and The Witcher 3 for $9.99 which, for a former Game Of The Year winner, almost feels like you're doing something wrong getting it for that little.

The games mentioned above are just the tip of this Epic iceberg. Just remember you've only got this weekend to take advantage of the sale. The games included in it will return to full price at 11am EST on Monday, February 24, 2025.
