While exploring the Pirates of the Wasteland region, Mickey will come across an odd machine known as Hook's Machine, which turns pirates into monsters. He needs to take action regarding this machine and the choice you make will affect the outcome of the quest.

How To Start The Hook's Machine Quest

The Hook's Machine quest begins as soon as you arrive at Skull Island.

Once you reach this location as part of the main story, you will see a machine inside the skull cave that transforms all the pirates into enemies.

Mickey will need to locate four pumps and interact with them using either Paint or Thinner to determine the outcome of the quest.

The first pump is located just to the right of the entrance to Hook's Machine.

The second pump is locatedjust to the left of the entrance to Hook's Machine.

Both the third and fourth pumps are located at the eyes of the Skull at the top, which can be accessed by climbing up the rocks to the left of the entrance to Hook's Machine.

How To Complete The Hook's Machine Quest

As mentioned earlier, like many other quests in the game, there are two outcomes for this quest, depending on which substance you choose to use.

If you fill all the pumps with Paint, the machine will transform the monsters back into pirates, and the quest will be completed.

If you choose to fill the pumps with Thinner, it will destroy the machine, but those enemies already converted will not be restored.

​​​​​​​However, at least the machine won't create any more of them, and this will still complete the quest, so don’t worry.
