8 Blissey

An Egg A Day

Blissey gives off loving motherly vibes, so she will definitely be able to help you out if you are freaking out about being alone on an island. Its abilities are Natural Cure or Serene Grace, both of which are sure to help if you are alone on a Deserted Island.

She has a small pouch in front of her body too, holding a single egg, which is said to make a person happier and more calm when eaten. So, for all the calming reassurance while dealing with your new island environment, and her healing expertise, Blissey is a strong contender.

7 Pelipper

"Mine"

Pelipper is a swift, majestic, large seagull-type Pokemon weighing in at about 60 pounds. If you were to see it on a normal busy beach, it would probably be uninterested in eating your snacks, as it can eat a lot of fish at one time. If you had one on the Deserted Island, it would be an asset to help you in that it can carry a large amount of fish for you to cook.

Given that Pelipper typically lives on a beach, and knows the terrain of an island really well, it could be a handy Pokemon to have.

6 Arcanine

Man's Best Friend

A fire type, Arcanine is a dog Pokemon who can run over 6,200 miles a day. Arcanine can roar and bite like a lion, and it can also use fire moves and the move Helping Hand to help you out. Arcanine would be able to light fires for you, hunt for food, and race through the island extremely quickly.

It is said that Mamoswine has been around since the Ice Age, so it knows a thing or two about survival. Given its resiliency and ginormous stature, it makes sense to include Mamoswine in case you are stranded on a snowy, frigid island.
