Disney Dreamlight Valley: How To Find Pink Houseleek

There's a wide variety of fantastical biomes and locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and each of them grows several flowers unique to that area. On the Sunlit Plateau, a savanna with waterfalls and baobab trees, you can find Bromeliads and Houseleeks, but one flower is harder to find.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is always serving up new content, but this time it's your turn to serve up style with new wrought iron decor.
PostsOf the two flower types, Houseleeks are in limited supply, but you'll need them for several different quests and recipes throughout the game, so having plenty on hand is helpful. If you're having trouble getting some or just want to get some for decorating purposes, we'll tell you how to get them spawning.
How To Find Pink Houseleek
To start finding Pink Houseleeks, you'll first need to open up the Sunlit Plateau, whose entrance sits to the left of the Plaza and takes 7,000 Dreamlight to unlock.
Once it's open, you can start gathering the flowers in Sunlit Plateau's initial area, but with the Houseleek type of flower specifically, it's rarer than the others.
Initially, the other areas of Sunlit Plateau will be blocked off until you upgrade your tools during Scar's friendship quest, The Circle Of Life, and Merlin's friendship quest, The Final Trial.
Only three or four Houseleeks can spawn at one time within the entirety of the Sunlit Plateau, but the good thing is that there are only two colors of Houseleek you can find: Orange and Pink.
If no Pink Houseleeks have spawned when you go into the area, or you only get one, you'll want to go through and pick all the Houseleek Flowers on the Plateau, even if they're Orange.
You can fill an area with decor or housesto make any natural resources, such as flowers, spawn in a smaller area to help with farming them.
Like other flower types, they have their own in-game timer and one Houseleek flower will respawn around every 25 minutes.
You can keep them respawning by making sure you only pick the Houseleeks, and eventually, you'll end up with plenty of the pink variant.
What To Use Pink Houseleeks For
The most important things you'll be using Pink Houseleeks for are two friendship quests and their quest-specific recipes:
- For Donald Duck's level six friendship quest, The Forgotten Project, you'll need to craft an Odorous Magnificus, and it needs three Pink Houseleeks as part of its recipe.
- For Scar's level ten friendship quest, The Making of a Monarch, you'll need to craft two Sunbird Feeders, and each one you make also needs three Pink Houseleeks, for a total of six needed.
Pink Houseleeks are also used in five furniture recipes: Jubilant Topiary, Pink Flat-Top Stove, Pink Gas Stove, the Pink, Blue, and Purple Flower Rectangle, and the Pink, Yellow, and Black Flower Disk.
