PostsJunimo Huts house even more Junimos, which can help you harvest crops in the area surrounding the structure. This hut has the ability to be powered up though, which can be quite helpful. In this guide, we are going to go over how exactly you can power up your Junimo Hut to provide even more crops for you.
How To Upgrade Your Junimo Hut
To understand Junimos, let's take a look at some Secret Notes that you can find in the valley. Secret Note 24 includes the following tidbit of information.
Also, it's said that raisins are their favorite food, but they are too shy to take them directly from the hand.
On top of this, Secret Note 26 states the following.
There's no better helper than a raisin-fed Junimo...
So, what can we learn from these notes? Junimos like raisins. This is important to know if you want to power up your Junimo Huts. While it's possible to find both Secret Notes in order to gain this knowledge, it's not required.
How To Get Raisins
Raisins are made by placing five Grape into the Dehydrator. This will yield one bag of raisins after a day has passed. There are two main ways to get your hands on the Dehydrator, which you can below.
Mushroom Cave Option
Early into the game, Demetrius will stop by and ask what you want your cave to produce; mushrooms or fruit. If you choose mushrooms, then a Dehydrator will be added inside. You can relocate this Dehydrator anywhere you want.
Buying The Dehydrator Blueprint
The Dehydrator blueprint can also be purchased from Pierre for 10,000g. To make it, you will need the following materials.
- 30x Wood
- 2x Clay
- 1x Fire Quartz
What Do Raisins Do?
We know all about adding raisins to Junimo Huts, but what do they do? By placing raisins inside the hut, they will have a 20 percent chance to harvest double the crops.
If you have the maximum amount of crops growing around the hut, then you are bound to get more crops than usual. When this bonus is active, you will be able to find a sign outside of the Junimo Hut as an indication.
Junimos will take one full week (in every season besides Winter) to consume the raisins, but you can stack more than one.
