From solving small arguments to making new villagers feel welcome, all falls under your jurisdiction. Mulan knows this, and so she comes to you with her problems so you can work together.

She's having trouble relaxing and having fun. Having been so focused on training, she finds it hard to unwind. Here's how you can help her enjoy her new home and connect with other villagers. Try out new hobbies with her and see what she likes!

Helping Mulan Find A Hobby

To unlock this quest, you'll need to reach level seven friendship with Mulan. She's having trouble having fun in the village as she's stuck in work mode. All she can think about is strategy, so she needs your help to find a hobby. You'll start by picking flowers together!

You'll need to find eight red flowers, eight yellow flowers, and eight blue flowers. It doesn't matter what type, so long as they're the right color. Keep them in your inventory and give them to Mulan when you're done.

Flowers that are considered red and white count as red flowers!

She's still struggling to think about activities without strategizing, so it's time to garden instead! You'll need to plant the following crops in a new garden:

After you plant them, talk to Mulan. She can only think of using these vegetables as rations, so she asks you to talk to Mushu about helping her further.

Building Mulan's Training Dummies

Mushu has an idea. Since Mulan seems to enjoy strategizing and training, he wants to create a space for her to do so. Your task is to make Wooden Training Dummies for Mulan to use. Gather the following materials to craft three of these dummies:

  • Gold Ingot (2)
  • Dry Wood (4)
  • Hardwood (6)
  • Stone (15)

Go to your Crafting Station to put everything together, then deliver the dummies to Mushu. He'll help you set up for the final steps.

Creating A Training Space For Mulan

The last thing you must do for this quest is build a safe space for Mulan to train and strategize. Mushu gives you several decorative items, including the Strategic Map Table, to place for Mulan. make a training space for her using the following decorations:

  • Tactical Table
  • Pale Wood Fence
  • Wooden Training Dummy (3)
  • Outdoor Furniture (6)

Consider putting this furniture by Mulan's house!

After everything is set up, talk to Mulan about her new training area to earn her sincere thanks! You'll get to keep the decorations you earned throughout the quest and you'll earn additional friendship with Mulan!
