Digimon Card Game: The 10 Best Multicolour Cards From BT11: Dimensional Phase

Multicoloured cards changed the way the Digimon Card Game is played. Not only are the cards more powerful to make up for their higher Digivolution and Play Costs, but deckbuilding was given another layer of creativity with the freedom of creating different lines of Digivolution outside the single color restriction.

BT11 Dimensional Phase released some of the most powerful multicoloured cards to date, with powerful meta decks like BlackWarGreymon (X Antibody) and new support for old decks like Tyrannomon and Xros Heart. Having multicoloured cards in your deck is a must if you want a competitive edge against your opponents.
10 RustTyrannomon
It's been a while since a brand new Tyrannomon card was released in the Digimon Card Game. For being the original mascot of the franchise, Tyrannomon is underappreciated. The new RustTyrannomon card is a fantastic new top-end for Tyrannomon-centered decks.
Paired with the new Tamer Taiga, which can reduce your Digivolution cost, this card is easy to play out while being able to attack without passing turns. At 13,000 DP, this massive metal monstrosity will devour your opponent quickly with its multiple attacks.
9 MetalEtemon
The King of Digimon is back! The new Etemon support has one of the coolest gameplay mechanics in the Digimon Card Game so far. By using your Sukamon and Numemon cards to chip away at your opponent's Digimon and Security, they can delete themselves and float into other Digimon. At the same time, the king himself can call forth more Digimon from the top of your deck.
With an inheritable effect preventing its deletion, MetalEtemon will be a hard Digimon to remove and one that generates even more value the longer he stays on board.
8 KingSukamon
Besides the old Diaboromon deck, token-based decks haven't been a thing in the Digimon Card Game. With the new KingSukamon, fans of tokens can rejoice. This new card can turn your opponent's Digimon into Sukamon tokens as long as you have three Sukamon in your trash or your opponent has sixteen cards in theirs.

While Sukamon won't be the best deck any time soon, it can compete with the best of them with their removal alone. Since the Digimon aren't deleted or removed from play, KingSukamon's token effect can dodge protection effects like those from BlackWarGreymon and Galacticmon.
7 MetalTyrannomon
Not only is this MetalTyrannomon card one of the best Tyrannomon support cards to date, but it's an overall amazing generic card. This card can suspend your opponent's Digimon for every Black or Green Tamer you have in play, but they also can't unsuspend the following turn, making MetalTyrannomon a great control tool.
MetalTyrannomon can also set up aggressive plays for you. Toolbox-style Tyrannomon decks can give their stacks Piercing and multiple Security Attacks. You can set up a terrifying One-Turn-Kill with MetalTyrannomon's inheritable effect to trash a Security card when a Digimon is deleted.
6 Shoutmon + Star Sword
Shoutmon + Star Sword is an excellent removal option for Xros Heart decks that people usually ignore. This card, if DigiXrosed, can remove a 5,000 DP Digimon, which is most Champion level Digimon in the Card Game. To DigiXros this Shoutmon, you will need a regular Shoutmon and a Starmons, which will reduce its play cost to three, like most Rookies in the game.
Using DigiXros is the best way to play this card since you will be giving this Shoutmon the Rush keyword from the Shoutmon inheritable effect. You'll also give it Draw a card from Starmons, allowing you to do a bit more damage in the turn it's played.
5 Shoutmon X3
With Shoutmon X4 being restricted to one copy per deck, Xros Heart lost a lot of card draws and, most importantly, lost a good mid-game Digimon to make use of the powerful Save mechanic. Shoutmon X3 gladly takes that seat by letting you search for two more Xros Heart cards from the top of your deck.

While not as strong as Shoutmon X4, Shoutmon X3 still gives you two more cards in hand, albeit in a more balanced way, and can still damage your opponent by using Rush from the Shoutmon inheritable effect.
4 MetalGreymon (X Antibody)
For the longest time, De-Digivolve was one of the strongest removal keywords. It stripped your top card of your stack, slowing you down for at least a turn. MetalGreymon (X Antibody) disregards all that by offering some of the best protection in the game.
No DP reduction, no De-Digivolve, and it can delete a Digimon with 8,000 or less DP? MetalGreymon (X Antibody) is a menace that must be stopped. If you think that's strong, wait until your Digimon unsuspend, and you have to trash a card from your Security due to MetalGreymon's inheritable effect.
3 Shoutmon X7
Shoutmon X7 gives Xros Heart decks the proper boss Digimon they deserve. With a DigiXros requirement of six total cards, Shoutmon X7 is a huge commitment, but it is well worth the price. This Digimon comes equipped with Rush, meaning that no Shoutmon is needed for its DigiXros, and it can delete a Digimon with equal or less than its DP.
At 13,000 DP, Shoutmon X7 can delete almost any Digimon in the game, but just in case you need that extra DP to delete a Jesmon GX, its secondary effect gives your stack an extra 1,000 DP for every two cards in its sources. With a full DigiXros, Shoutmon X7 can delete a Digimon with up to 16,000 DP.
2 BlackWarGreymon (X Antibody)
While BlackWarGreymon (X Antibody) is not as powerful by itself, it is still a strong card to contend against. With its ability to redirect attacks to itself without suspending, giving you a pseudo-blocker, BlackWarGreymon X is an incredible control tool for the deck.
Most of its power comes from the strong inheritable effects that you can build up in its stack, like protection from deletion in Greymon X and trashing Security from MetalGreymon X. This means your BlackWarGreymon can sit in play without doing much but wait for your opponent to figure out how to answer this menacing Digimon.
1 Greymon (X Antibody)
As the best card in the BlackWarGreymon (X Antibody) deck, Greymon (X Antibody) offers some of the best effects in the game at the moment. Being an X Antibody card means that if you pair it with one of the best cards of 2022, Cool Boy, you can get tons of advantages and Memory from just one Digivolution.
Greymon X can also reduce the Digivolution cost of your next Greymon card by one for every color that it has, making your dual-coloured MetalGreymon only cost two memory to Digivolve. This card alone makes the BlackWarGreymon deck much faster and even more deadly than it used to be.
