Across the Ace Attorney series (or Turnabout Trial as it's known in Japan), we have been witness to a great many cases and just as many emotions. They teeter on the line of absurdity but have a genuinely solid degree of intrigue at times to really pull you into the case. Even when a parrot is a witness.

First Off, How Many Ace Attorney Games Are There?
So, to start off, it would help to know exactly how many games there are in the series. With the Edgeworth-leading Investigations games finally available internationally, that leaves only the Professor Layton crossover game missing. For now, that means there are a total of ten Ace Attorney games at present. They are, in release order, shown in the table below.
The second Miles Edgeworth Investigations game was originally exclusive to Japan until its international release with the Ace Attorney Investigations collection.

And How Many Cases Are There In Each Ace Attorney Game?
With the number of games out of the way, let's break down how many cases there are in each game.
A fun fact lost in translation is that Phoenix Wright's actual Japanese name is Ryuichi Naruhodo, more obviously connecting him with Ryunosuke.

On average, we're seeing around five cases per game. Considering they tend to only get more complex as the games go on, they'll take up plenty of your time.
Dual Destinies was also the first Ace Attorney game to transition to 3D.
So How Many Cases Are There In Total?
On average, each game in the series has about five entries.
That's a pretty respectable number, considering their length, too. There's not exactly replayability as there is only one outcome, but it may well take you long enough to figure out the result, considering how much the game likes to throw in a twist.
No single game holds the record as having the most cases, with both Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice having six cases total, including DLC.
No one game has the lowest amount either, as Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney and Justice For All both have only four cases.
As a grand total across the whole series, you're looking at 50 cases. That's including the three DLC cases as well. That's a pretty hefty number of cases. Plenty to get your courtroom appetite sated.
