Posts 1The patch has been accompanied by some server downtime, which was initially slated to be four hours; however, it has been extended due to the "comprehensive" nature of the update.
"Our team is dedicated to resolving the issues"
A message in Once Human's official Discord server reads "We regret to inform you that due to the comprehensive content update of the ongoing maintenance, there is a need to further extend the reopening time of the server. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
Initially slated to last from 4 am UTC to 8 am UTC, the server maintenance has been extended for a further two hours, meaning things will reopen at 10 am UTC.
The server maintenance has been extended by a further hour, with NetEase saying, "In order to ensure that our server stability is fully restored, we regret to inform you that we will need to extend the maintenance period by an additional hour."
The NetEase team were quick to point out that their "team is dedicated to resolving the issues and expediting the return of the servers online at the earliest possible time," and because of the extended downtime, "compensation will be distributed accordingly."
While many of the laundry list of changes are bug fixes, a big new gameplay update is inbound.
A new PVP activity will see a Rosetta transport truck filled with Sproutlets appear "on the highways of Red Sands." Here, players can ram the truck in order to collect the Sproutlets. Thankfully, NetEase confirms "There will be no Durability loss or gear drops in this mode, allowing players to embrace the exhilarating highway chase without any consequences," and that although the patch notes specifically state that it's a PvP feature, it will be available in "both PvP and PvE" scenarios.
