What Are Sproutlets?

Sproutlets are a special in-game currency earned through the Cargo Scramble event in the game. They are accessible in your inventory from the 'Special' tab.

How To Find A Cargo Scramble Event

Need to find out if a Cargo Scramble is happening? Here's how.

• Press 'M' to bring up your map.
• Click 'X' to display all the current events happening in your game world. Look for the Cargo Scramble event, marked by a truck icon. This event happens daily, and there are usually a few to choose from.

You can't teleport directly to this event as you can with some others, but they are usually located near major cities and landmarks, which you can teleport to easily.

How To Earn Sproutlets

To start earning Sproutlets, you must halt the Cargo Scramble's Rosetta transport truck by damaging it, either through gunfire or grenades. Once stopped, a jellyfishcreature will infect a nearby player, transforming them into an enemy. As the infected, you'll gain Sproutlets by defeating both AI and other players. The higher your kill count, the bigger your Sproutlet reward.

This event is PvP, even if you are in a PvE server.

However, you'll also naturally gain Sproutlets for 45 seconds or until someone downs you and takes the jellyfish creature. This means if no other players show up to the PvP event, you can still obtain Sproutlets.

The maximum number of Sproutlets you can earn naturally, not counting any extra from kills, during this event is 400. You also have the ability to earn the Polar Jelly Deviant.

If the jellyfish creature leaves you after 45 seconds, or another player takes it from you, you can regain it by going near it again or defeating the new wearer. At the conclusion of the event, a crate will drop with an extra 50 Sproutlets.

How To Spend Sproutlets

Once you've amassed a stockpile of Sproutlets, visit NPC Nisa in any safe zone settlement city. She is a young girl wearing a pink dress with a jellyfish creature on her head. She will exchange your hard-earned currency for different kinds of mods, consumables, and unique items.

Most of her items cost 1,000 Sproutlets, which will take about two to three Cargo Scramble events to obtain.
