Nightingale is a co-op survival experience, and it's better enjoyed with your friends. To invite your friends, you'll need to first complete the tutorial to gain access to the Social and Party Tab in the main menu.

Nightingale Early Access And Release Guide

Everything you need to know about Nightingale's release and being a part of its early access period.

You'll need to copy your name and the number next to your name to invite players to your party. Once in, you can have a party of up to six players that can travel to each other's realms and explore new realms together.

Nightingale is still in early access, so some of this information is subject to change. We will update the page when we have more info.

We added a section on how to share a co-op world by using Estate Cairns to set your respite point.

How To Invite Your Friends

  • Friends can be invited by searching for their name and corresponding number.
  • You can find your own name and number on the same screen.
  • You can have up to six players in a party at any given time.
  • All you need to do is invite other members of the party to your Realm and they will be pulled in, without needing to travel through a portal.

There is currently no friends list functionality in the game, but recently added players are displayed, so you can quickly add your friends to rejoin or set up a new party.

Progression in Nightingale is completely character based, as all your gear score and other quests are tied to your account.

Players can, however, share resources and bases, and complete Realm events and Points Of Interest by traveling to the same worlds.

We will have more updates about how the game's card system works soon.

The game also has a social hub available when you finish the main story of the game and maximize your gear score. We will also have more information on that as we progress in the game.

How To Share A Co-Op World

To actually share a co-op world, you'll need to build an Estate Cairn on the world you want to have as a shared Realm.

This will set a Respite Point that can be traveled back to at any time, which will allow you to visit a friend's Realm even if they are offline or if you are not currently in a party.

To return to your own home Realm, where your base might be, you have to place the same two cards that you used to spin up the Realm to begin with - in the case of the starting Realm, that's Forest and Abeyance.

These worlds do not change and can be visited again. If you want to reset your world, just head back to your world and set your existing Estate Cairn to be your main Respite Point.
