If you're looking to spice up combat in a way that essentially feels illegal compared to the base game, then you'll love Elenai Dodge 2, which gives you the power to dive and roll around in different directions by either double tapping a movement key, or holding down Left-Alt and moving.

Just like in Dark Souls and other, similar games, your dodge ability will be impacted by the weight of any armor you're wearing, and can't be infinitely spammed; that's right, you'll have a stamina bar to be mindful of.

Instead of going through the trouble of pillaging a bunch of End Cities for their loot, you could download this mod instead, which allows you to find or craft all kinds of useful, magical trinkets. Looking for a few examples? Consider these trinkets:

  • The Moon Stone trinket makes you immune to fall damage and grants a low gravity effect.
  • The Tear of The Sea trinket makes you swim three times as fast.
  • The Ghast Eye trinket gives you ten extra hearts, and grants regeneration when you kill mobs.

While this mod doesn't appear to be referring to the Chidori you might be familiar with from Naruto, it still provides four elemental powers to choose from: Air, Land, Aqua, and Dark. Perhaps it's best to think of these powers in an Avatar The Last Airbender kind of way.

To give a brief rundown:

  • Air Chidori gives natural flight and fire immunity but less health and a hungrier belly.
  • Land Chidori makes you larger, tankier, and stronger, but makes your movement slower.
  • Aqua Chidori makes you smaller, grants immunity to fire, lava, poison, and drowning, but has lower health and less EXP gain.
  • Dark Chidori grants more inventory and reach, immunity to fire, water and lava walking, but poor vision, health, and sleep.

Origins feels mostly balanced since each choice has pros and cons, and is vanilla-friendly, at least thematically. If you're looking for more extreme options, there are a decent number of add-ons for this mod that will expand on what you can start with.
