How To Perform A High Throw

Performing a high throw in Madden 25 is a simple process. After calling a passing play, scan the field for your preferred target. When you hit the receiver's corresponding face button, make sure to hold your controller's Left Bumper. This will modify your pass and turn it into a high throw, causing your target to leap into the air and fight for the ball.

High throws will be most effective when used against short defensive players; your receiver can get airborne, securing an easier completion than if they were thrown at normally. You may also find it useful in the red zone, where space is at a premium due to the cramped field position. A high throw keeps the ball out of defenders' hands and reduces the chances of a costly turnover.
