As the name indicates, Quick Play is a fast way to jump instantly into a game online or offline. Madden 24 will use the most current roster, so if there are real-life injuries then that will reflect on those specific players. We break down the best teams you want to use in Quick Play to dominate the gridiron.

11 Minnesota Vikings - 85

The Minnesota Vikings have been a frequent participant in the playoffs since the turn of the century, reaching the postseason nine times. However, Minnesota has only advanced as far as the NFC Conference Championship Game three times since 2000 and is still searching for that first Super Bowl title.

With Aaron Rodgers out of the NFC North, the Vikings hope to repeat as division champions for the first time since 2008. Despite releasing long-time running back Dalvin Cook, Minnesota still boasts an explosive offense with Justin Jefferson (99), the highest-rated receiver in Madden 24, quarterback Kirk Cousins (84), and tight end T.J. Hockenson (90).

10 Los Angeles Chargers - 85

When you’re in a division with Patrick Mahomes, it’s tough to find success. But the Los Angeles Chargers finally broke through last season and reached the postseason for the first time in the Justin Herbert (87) era. The Chargers lost a heartbreaker to the Jacksonville Jaguars but should remain a contender in the AFC.

Only 25 years old, Herbert is among the next wave of top quarterbacks in the league. Compared to the other top passers in Madden, he has average accuracy but extremely high throwing power (97). The Chargers’ offense also leans heavily on the playmaking ability of running back Austin Ekeler (89). On defense, the Chargers have the highest-rated safety in the game in Derwin James Jr. (95) and a top-rated linebacker in Joey Bosa (91).

9 Miami Dolphins - 86

After acquiring speedy wide receiver Tyreek Hill (98), things were trending up for the Miami Dolphins. However, several injuries to quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (83) limited him throughout the year and the Dolphins failed to accomplish their lofty championship goals.

Miami added the highest-rated cornerback in Madden Jalen Ramsey (97) to lock down the secondary. Led by Ramsey, the Dolphins have an excellent pass defense that’s designed to handle opposing receivers in man coverage. As long as Tagovailoa is healthy, Miami is as competitive as anyone.

8 San Francisco 49ers - 86

When the season started, the San Francisco 49ers thought Trey Lance (71) was the future of the franchise at quarterback. But after suffering a season-ending ankle injury, plans changed and now the 49ers belong to Brock Purdy (73) after a surprise trip to the NFC Conference title game.

San Francisco added All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey (96) to an offense that already has a top-rated wide receiver in Deebo Samuel (89) and a top-rated tight end in George Kittle (96). On the other side of the ball, the 49ers apply constant pressure on opposing quarterbacks with defensive end Nick Bosa (98) and linebacker Fred Warner (96), giving the team great balance in all facets of the game.

7 Cleveland Browns - 87

As teams across the league look to find success through the air, the Cleveland Browns achieve success through a stout run game on offense and intense quarterback pressure on defense. Nick Chubb (97) leads the running back position in Madden 24 with his powerful stiff arm and trucking techniques.

Cleveland utilizes Chubb to win the battle at the line of scrimmage on offense and they utilize Myles Garrett (98) to dominate the line on defense. While Garrett terrorizes quarterbacks, cornerback Denzel Ward (88) locks down opposing receivers with his high-end speed. After spending several years in the cellar of the AFC North, the Browns have some of the most talented players in the league.

6 Baltimore Ravens - 87

Despite winning an MVP award, Lamar Jackson (91) has spent his entire career trying to prove doubters wrong about his ability to excel at the quarterback position. While the Baltimore Ravens haven’t reached the AFC Championship Game under Jackson, the AFC North team has qualified for the postseason in four of the five seasons with the Louisville product.

Jackson is one of four quarterbacks in Madden 24 with an X-Factor ability, Truzz. When activated, Jackson becomes unstoppable running the ball. Most quarterbacks won’t scramble unless it’s the last resort but Jackson is a true dual-threat quarterback. And with Odell Beckham Jr. (85) joining Mark Andrews (95) on offense, Jackson will overpower defenses with his arm and his legs.

5 Dallas Cowboys - 88

Year after year, the Dallas Cowboys aspire to lift the Lombardi Trophy. Instead, America’s Team constantly fails to achieve those aspirations because of incorrect officiating, botched field goals, or simply being the inferior team. But on paper, the Cowboys are one of the most talented teams in the game.

Led by Dak Prescott (87), Dallas’ offense is a well-oiled machine that can dominate defenses on the ground with newly appointed starting running back Tony Pollard (88) or through the air with wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (90). In the offseason, the Cowboys added veteran cornerback Stephon Gilmore (91) to solidify their secondary while Demarcus Lawrence (90) applies pressure on the opposing quarterback.

4 Cincinnati Bengals - 89

One season after selecting Joe Burrow (95) with the first overall pick, the former LSU quarterback led the Cincinnati Bengals to the Super Bowl in 2021. The Bengals ultimately lost to the Los Angeles Rams but the duo of Burrow and receiver Ja’Marr Chase (94) decimated NFL defenses.

As the second-highest overall rated quarterback, Burrow specializes in being accurate. He boasts the highest accuracy rating among passers in each category and can activate the Run & Gun X-Factor to extend plays outside the pocket. Cincinnati has one of the best offenses in the game with Tee Higgins (87) and Tyler Boyd (82) as the other receivers and Joe Mixon (87) in the backfield.

3 Buffalo Bills - 90

For the last few seasons, many picked the Buffalo Bills to not only reach the Super Bowl but to win it. However, the team fell to the Cincinnati Bengals last year and to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020 and 2021. But with Madden 24 cover athlete Josh Allen (94) at the helm, the Bills always have a chance at a championship.

Allen’s perfect throwing power makes him extremely dangerous on deep passes to superstar wide receiver Stefon Diggs (96). Buffalo has an explosive offense through the air and is the only team to feature two top-rated safeties (Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer) on defense. The Bills have several impactful players on both sides of the ball and are rightfully a top team in the game.

2 Philadelphia Eagles - 91

Although the Philadelphia Eagles are the second-highest-rated team in Madden 24, they arguably have the most talented roster in football. Jalen Hurts (88) continues to display his dual-threat potential on offense, capable of utilizing the Run & Gun X-Factor. He can choose to make defenses pay with his legs or seek out A.J. Brown (91) and Dallas Goedert (89) in the passing game.

Philadelphia’s defense is just as impactful with Darius Slay Jr. (92) locking down the secondary and Haasan Reddick (90) attacking the quarterback. The Eagles somehow managed to draft one of the best defensive college prospects in Jalen Carter (79) after reaching the Super Bowl last season. There aren’t any major holes on this roster and the Eagles are extremely dynamic on both sides of the ball.
