Endless levels that get tougher as you go: rarer letters, more categories, a tighter timer. Three stars to earn per level, and every ten levels a BOSS with its own special rule (proofreader, time attack, double letter).

The same letter and the same categories for the whole country, one attempt per day. Compare your score on the daily leaderboard (Game Center), keep your streak and share your recap with friends.

NO MORE ARGUMENTS OVER ANSWERS

The app checks words for you: all 197 countries, capitals, cities, first names, car brands, colours, the French dictionary, and a reference base of more than 1.5 million words (animals, fruit, vegetables, jobs, sports, drinks, clothing, instruments, vehicles…). A made-up word is flagged as not found, a word that is too short is flagged too. In multiplayer, it flags what looks doubtful and the group settles it by vote.

Create a game, share the 4-letter code or the QR code, and your friends join in seconds. Up to 8 players, wherever they are. The first player to fill in every category hits STOP and freezes everyone else. Joining a friend's game is always free, and your first joined game gives you 7 days without ads.

What is Petit Bac?
A word game where, for a randomly drawn letter, you must find a word in each category: a country, an animal, a job. It is also known as the French version of Scattergories, Tutti Frutti or baccalauréat.

Can I play alone?
Yes, that is new in this version: the Adventure, the Daily Challenge and Free Play are solo modes, free, and the app corrects your answers.

How does the app check answers?
It uses built-in reference lists, the iPhone French dictionary and a base of more than 1.5 million words. In multiplayer it never rejects a word on its own: it flags it, and the group votes.

Do I need a subscription to play together?
Only creating an online game requires the subscription. Joining a friend's game is free and unlimited. The single-phone mode and the solo modes are entirely free.

How many players?
Solo, or from 2 to 8 players.

PREMIUM

- Yearly: 29.99 EUR per year

The subscription unlocks online game creation, Party mode, all premium categories, and removes ads. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple account on confirmation. Manage or cancel in Settings > your name > Subscriptions.
