Using Poes and Bargainer Statues in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for Gameplay Enhancement

UPDATE: We’ve integrated an interactive map to assist you in locating all the Bargainer Statues in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
In your exploration of The Depths within The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you might stumble upon peculiar small blue orbs resembling flames or teardrops known as Poes. These curious items serve a significant purpose, specifically when you seek out the Bargainer Statues.
It’s likely that your inventory fills with hundreds of these Poes before their real utility becomes clear. Fortunately, these orbs can be exchanged for unique items and armor! Here’s what you need to know about how to utilize Poes in the game effectively.
Understanding Poes: The Blue Orbs of The Depths
Poes are small, luminous blue orbs scattered throughout The Depths. They provide a faint illumination until you collect them, after which they serve as currency for trade with Bargainer Statues. While exclusively found underground, these orbs are abundant, with opportunities to discover larger variants—Large Poes—that yield multiple Poes at once.

Once you’ve collected Poes, you can visit Bargainer Statues located throughout The Depths. At these statues, you will have the opportunity to trade your amassed Poes for a variety of items, including exclusive Depths Armor.
Keep in mind that each Bargainer Statue offers a unique selection of items, with the exception of the Lookout Landing Bargainer Statue, which is the only one located above ground.
Locating the Bargainer Statues in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Across the game, there are seven Bargainer Statues. Six are hidden away in The Depths, while the first statue, located at Lookout Landing, can be found directly on the main map of Hyrule, beside Josha who comments on the Poes.

However, this will deplete some Poes you might prefer to save for purchasing items. Here’s a guide to finding the remaining statues along with their offerings.
For an efficient overview of all Bargainer Statue locations, refer to this interactive map:
Great Abandoned Central Mine Bargainer Statue
After Lookout Landing, the next Bargainer Statue is located at the Great Abandoned Central Mine within The Depths. Fast travel to the mine and enter from below your fast travel point.

Plains Bargainer Statue
Located not far from the Great Abandoned Central Mine, this statue can be revealed for just 10 Poes by the Lookout Landing Bargainer Statue, if not previously unveiled. You’ll find it just northeast of the mines; I accessed it from the nearest Lightroot, Stakijat Lightroot.
From there, the journey to the Plains Bargainer Statue is straightforward.

Under the Lanayru region lies the Wellspring of Wisdom Bargainer Statue. As you progress, understand that revealing other statues now costs 100 Poes, so consider your expenditures carefully.
If you lack nearby Lightroots, a good entry point is the Naydra Snowfield Chasm, found west of the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower.

The final statue, known as the Cliffs Bargainer Statue, poses a unique challenge due to its location. You can fast travel to the Uoyoyuik Lightroot and navigate north or descend into the Drenan Highlands Chasm.
For a skyward approach, glide from the Typhlo Ruins Skyview Tower towards the Drenan Highlands Chasm while continuing westward. Beware of an Obsidian Frox lurking nearby. This statue is distinct as it possesses a sizable body, requiring effort to reach its head. Ascend it using climbing skills, rockets, or nearby mushroom platforms, or leverage a Zonai Schematic like a hot air balloon for easier access.
