In an exciting update for Pokémon GO enthusiasts, Niantic has disclosed the dates for the upcoming Community Day events that will take place throughout the next season of the game. The first event is set to launch on March 8, 2025, following the conclusion of the current season on March 4.

Community Day events serve as exclusive opportunities for players to capture new Pokémon, enhance their Trainer prowess, and potentially encounter Shiny variants. By evolving the featured Pokémon during these designated days, players can unlock special moves advantageous for Trainer Battles, Gyms, and Raids. Notable rewards for Community Days also include boosted Candy and Candy XL drops, plus the chance to encounter Smeargle through the snapshot feature. As we near the end of the Dual Destiny season in Pokémon GO, Niantic’s new announcements hint at exciting gameplay ahead.

• Saturday, March 22, 2025 (Community Day Classic)
• Sunday, April 27, 2025
• Sunday, May 11, 2025

Coinciding with the first Community Day on March 8 will be the Max Battle Weekend, creating an action-packed day for players. Additional events scheduled from March through May include Catch Mastery on March 16 and several Raid Day events, culminating in the return of Shadow Raid Day on May 17. Players can anticipate more detailed announcements about these events leading up to March 4, ensuring the community stays informed and engaged.

In addition to the generous event bonuses, Pokémon GO Community Days often feature Field Research tasks and opportunities to earn additional rewards through paid Special Research. Players can also gain benefits by spinning PokeStops and joining PokeStop Showcases during these events. Furthermore, to gear up for the new season, players can participate in the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova event, taking place in Los Angeles and New Taipei City from February 21-23, followed by a global event on March 1-2.
