Although Berserker’s stat sheet may not indicate overwhelming damage output, its utility is significant when deployed strategically. Left unassisted against a tower, it may struggle to inflict substantial damage, but with proper positioning, it can prove invaluable.

This card excels in countering heavy hitters such as Rune Giant, Royal Giant, and regular Giant. While these giants may still land a few hits on your turret, utilizing Berserker can facilitate a favorable elixir trade. Its remarkable hit speed of 0.5 seconds is where it truly stands out.

Moreover, Berserker serves effectively against many low-cost cards (2-4 elixirs), including Knight, Valkyrie, Mini P. E.K. K.A, Bandit, Ice Wizard, and Wall Breakers. Its resilience to common spells, unlike many low-cost alternatives, makes it a robust defensive option. Unlike giants, which focus solely on towers and buildings, the Berserker can target enemy troops as well.

However, it’s essential to note that Berserker is not inherently offensive; it falls short when tasked with directly attacking towers, even in unopposed scenarios. It is easily countered by low-elixir cards such as Spear Goblins, Goblin Gang, or even Ice and Electro Spirit. Furthermore, its inability to engage air units renders it susceptible to cheaper aerial troops like Bats and Minions.

In summary, while the Berserker is a competent defensive card in specific matchups, its effectiveness against tanks is limited, and it is not the best offensive option. It remains an appealing choice due to its low cost of two elixir; however, the Knight represents superior value for just one additional elixir, offering enhanced performance across both defensive and offensive scenarios.
