Transform Your Seikret into a Chocobo in Monster Hunter Wilds: A Step-by-Step Guide
Monster Hunter Wilds offers extensive customization options that allow players to deeply personalize both their Hunters and Palicos. Notably, during Chapter 1, players will gain access to unique customization features for their Seikret, which is particularly exciting for fans of the Final Fantasy series.
While the Seikret customization in Monster Hunter Wilds may not reach the same depth as Hunter or Palico customization, it provides enough flexibility for players to transform their Seikrets into Chocobo-like creatures. An added fun feature is the ability to rename the Seikret to “Chocobo”or “Boko, ”heightening the resemblance and appeal.
Creating a Chocobo in Monster Hunter Wilds
Before players can dive into customizing their Seikret, they must first complete Chapter 1-4: A Hunter’s Pride. Upon finishing this chapter, the next step is returning to Windsong Village and seeking out a child named Nona, who can be found near a cluster of Seikrey. Engaging Nona will unlock options to adjust the Seikret’s skin and feather colors along with other customization features.
Determining the appropriate RGB color for a Chocobo can be a bit controversial among gamers, but general consensus places it around RGB: 219, 180, 87. When converted to HSL, this results in Hue: 42, Saturation: 65, and Lightness: 60—the ideal settings to achieve the authentic Chocobo skin color for your Seikret.
For the inner feathers, which embody a vibrant yellow hue, increase the saturation and brightness to 100 for a striking glow. Meanwhile, the outer feathers tend to display a slight green tint; thus, to replicate the desired look, it’s best to set the saturation to zero, resulting in crisp white outer feathers.
Players can experiment with these color settings to achieve their ideal version of a Chocobo; however, the proposed configurations should suffice for most enthusiasts. Additionally, renaming the Seikret can be done in the Seikret Customization menu, or from the comfort of your tent at base camp.
