In Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, players who excel at sniping will find it to be one of the most effective long-range options. However, a sniper’s loud gunfire can easily betray a player’s position to nearby enemies. To maintain stealth while eliminating foes, the addition of a suppressor or silencer is invaluable. For those stealth enthusiasts who are in pursuit of a sniper silencer, here’s a guide to help you secure one.
Locating a Suppressor/Silencer for Snipers in Stalker 2
The suppressor for sniper rifles can be discovered within the Meat, Fish, and Vegetables POI located in the Pripyat region of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Specifically, you’ll find this POI southeast of the Energetik Palace of Culture base and just south of Sunny Kindergarten POI. Be advised: the area is populated with numerous Monolith soldiers, so prepare for combat before attempting to reach the rooftop and secure the sniper silencer.
How to Access the Rooftop
Upon arriving at the POI, approach from the eastern side to locate an entrance leading to the stairwell. Ascend the stairs until you reach a floor that has an open door to your left.
Inside this apartment, be prepared to confront a Monolith soldier equipped with a sniper. Quickly eliminate this threat and take the opportunity to scavenge the room for additional valuable items.
Acquiring the Suppressed Mark I EMR
After neutralizing the soldier, step out onto the balcony of the apartment to find the suppressed Mark I EMR sniper rifle. Collect this weapon and exit promptly, as additional Monolith soldiers may be targeting you from the Kindergarten area.
That’s your guide to acquiring a suppressed sniper rifle in Stalker 2. If the Mark I EMR isn’t your weapon of choice, simply access your inventory and detach the silencer attachment. You can then attach the silencer to any compatible sniper rifle in your arsenal. The M701 Super, for instance, is one of the top snipers in the game and works seamlessly with the sniper silencer.
