Warhorse Studios, the creator behind the acclaimed RPG series, has rolled out Patch 1.1.2 for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, now available for download on major consoles and PC. This update aims to refine player experience by addressing several critical bugs and enhancing the overall stability of the game.
Since its recent launch, which followed a seven-year gap since the original title, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has quickly made a mark in the gaming community. The sequel achieved remarkable sales, with two million copies sold within two weeks, and garnered a “very positive”rating on Steam. The game peaked at over 250, 000 concurrent players, showcasing its popularity. Nevertheless, players have reported various bugs and performance challenges, prompting Warhorse Studios to introduce this critical update.
Patch 1.1.2 introduces a series of improvements specifically designed to enhance game functioning. This update aims to reduce instances of crashes that can occur when interacting with particular locked doors, chests, or while accessing the horse inventory. For users on the Epic Games Store, a notable fix addresses an issue that previously hindered achievement completion after extended gameplay. A complete list of patches and stability enhancements can be found in the detailed patch notes below.
Although this update does not introduce new content, Warhorse Studios has exciting initiatives for the future of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Earlier this year, the studio unveiled a post-launch roadmap indicating plans for three major expansions slated for release between Summer and Winter. The initial expansion, titled “Brushes with Death, ” is scheduled for Summer, followed by “Legacy of the Forge” in Autumn and “Mysteria Ecclesia” in Winter. Additionally, players can expect free content updates in the Spring that include features such as a new barber service, a hardcore difficulty mode, and horse racing.
If that wasn’t enough, Warhorse is also preparing to implement official mod support for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 in the near future. While no specific release date has been confirmed yet, the studio indicated on their social media that modding support will be integrated via Steamworks, inviting fans to stay tuned for further announcements.
