Thanks to a small cancel window present after each attack, transitioning into a guarding stance becomes seamless, simultaneously restoring stamina while depleting the enemy’s stamina.
While the evade maneuver, named Brink Evade, offers an instant escape, it feels less advantageous due to its limited invincibility frames, especially in close-quarters combat, making it a risky choice against an aggressive opponent.
