CI Games has officially unveiled Lords of the Fallen 2.0, the highly anticipated ‘definitive’ update to its popular Soulslike title. This release aims to fulfill numerous requests from the player community and enhance the overall gaming experience.

One of the standout features in this update is the implementation of fully shared co-op progression along with a Free Friend’s Pass. With the update, players can access the character creator and experience the entire tutorial area free of charge. Following the tutorial, players have the option to tackle the game in cooperative multiplayer mode alongside a friend who owns the base game. Notably, while character progress and loot are saved across sessions, only the host retains the world progression.

• Both co-op players can preserve their main storyline progress on a shared ‘New Game’ playthrough.
• Defeated bosses and lit beacons remain active in both players’ worlds.
• Players can revive each other and collect 100% vigor and all loot.
