Hokutomaru Joins the Roster in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves

In an exciting announcement, SNK has confirmed the addition of Hokutomaru as a playable character in the highly anticipated fighting game, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. Once again stepping into the ring, Hokutomaru not only makes a return from Garou: Mark of the Wolves but also completes the game’s launch roster.

Character Evolution and Voice Acting Updates

SNK has uploaded trailers in both Japanese and English, showcasing Hokutomaru’s character. The Japanese trailer introduces Junya Enoki as the new voice actor, taking over from Junko Takeuchi, who originally voiced Hokutomaru. This change emphasizes the character’s growth, as he has matured over two in-game years since his initial appearance at the age of 14 in Garou: Mark of the Wolves.

Launch Roster and Exciting Additions

At the recent Tokyo Game Show 2024, SNK revealed that Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves would feature 17 playable characters at its launch. With Hokutomaru’s inclusion, the team has finalized the character lineup, which will also feature two special guest characters: the renowned footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and DJ Salvatore Ganacci.

Post-Launch Content and Future Plans

Following the initial launch, SNK plans to expand the roster further to include 22 characters. Upcoming downloadable content (DLC) will introduce fan-favorites such as Andy Bogard, Ken Masters, Joe Higashi, Chun-Li, and Mr. Big. Players interested in accessing these additional characters as they become available can purchase the first Season Pass.

Release Date

Mark your calendars! Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is set to launch globally on April 24, 2025, and will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
