Gemstones have recently become an exciting crafting element in Fisch, introduced during the Ancient Isle update. These valuable resources are crucial for creating rods at a secret location hidden within the enigmatic Ancient Isle.
How to Discover Gemstones in Fisch

As you draw near, you will encounter a mini-game involving various obstacles scattered across the waves. Be cautious; if your boat collides with jagged rocks or explosive crates too often, it will sustain damage and may ultimately sink.
Acquiring Gemstones in Fisch
Image credit: Fisching/VG247Upon reaching the Ancient Isle, you must wait for a Meteor event to occur to obtain a Gemstone. These meteor strikes can happen at random or can be initiated by players utilizing the Meteor Totem, which can be located at Roslit Bay.
The Meteor will always land in the same area—the initial section of the Ancient Isle you encounter when traveling directly from Moosewood Island. You should head to coordinates 5690, 172, 633 to find the impact site. Once the Meteor lands, you can venture into the crater to collect a Gemstone. However, be aware that each player can only gather one gemstone per meteor strike, and the celestial event only persists for a few minutes, adding an element of urgency to your search.
A Guide to Fisch Gemstones
In total, there are five distinct Gemstones that players can gather in Fisch, each with varying drop rates:

Gemstones play a vital role in Fisch as they are utilized to forge specific rods. These rods are crafted in the hidden Ancient Archives located on the Ancient Isle. To access this secret spot, you will need a group of four players, each possessing the Ancient, Solar, Earth, and Eclipse Fragments.
To unlock the Ancient Archives, navigate to the waterfall on the Ancient Isle. You can take the zipline near the meteor impact zone to reach this area efficiently. Behind the waterfall’s base lies a concealed entrance, leading directly into the Ancient Archives, where you will find the Anvil required for rod crafting.
