Fans can expect the Basic version of this figure to arrive in 2025 in select regions. Specifically, the release is scheduled for September 2025 in Japan, while the worldwide launch is set for Q1 2026.

As a Basic Nendoroid figure, this version is designed to be more accessible and comes at a price point of ¥3, 900 (approximately $26.99).The figure showcases a stoic, neutral expression and includes Makoto’s iconic one-handed sword in his right hand, balancing simplicity with distinctive character design.

A Look Back at Previous Nendoroid Releases

This isn’t the first time that fans have seen a Makoto Yuki Nendoroid; a previous model based on his appearance from the original Persona 3 on the PS2 was launched in 2022. Unlike the Basic version, the initial release featured a traditional design with additional faceplates, hand accessories, and various collectible items, but has since remained out of stock.

Similarities and Differences with Earlier Versions

While this figure is inspired by Persona 3 Reload, its design elements closely mirror the earlier version. Fans will notice that the hairstyle and facial expression are nearly identical to the 2022 figure, and the uniform maintains a similar aesthetic. However, the one-handed sword included with this release departs from the gold-hilted design seen in the original figure, opting instead for a sleek, all-silver appearance reminiscent of Makoto’s starting weapon in the game.

Pre-Order Information and Game Availability

The Nendoroid Basic figure of Makoto Yuki is slated for release in Japan in September 2025, with a broader international rollout in Q1 2026. Pre-orders will be available until June 25, 2025. Fans can also enjoy Persona 3 Reload, which is accessible globally on various platforms, including the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. The original Persona 3 first launched on the PlayStation 2, making this release part of a rich legacy for the franchise.
