Abyssal Chaos is a thrilling roguelike mode featured in Love and Deepspace, designed as an endgame activity that enhances players’ adventure. In this mode, the main character, alongside various love interests, embarks on extracurricular missions beyond her typical role as a Deepspace Hunter. Players navigate an intricately woven narrative filled with mystery mini-stories, combining elements of choose-your-own-adventure segments, engaging dungeon-crawling, interactive mini-games, and unpredictable events that yield powerful items.

Understanding Abyssal Chaos in Love and Deepspace

You can locate the Abyssal Chaos mode within the Battle tab on the main home screen of Love and Deepspace. Currently, you may choose from two exciting Abyssal Chaos commissions: Find Tobias and Final Farewell.

When embarking on either of these Abyssal Chaos quests, selecting a companion significantly enhances your experience. During the run, your highest-rarity cards for that companion will be elevated to Level 80 Awakened, ensuring you can exploit your team’s top capabilities.

Additionally, every week brings a fresh opportunity to utilize two Trial characters. These are free-to-play versions of Myth companions typically unlocked through a completed 5-Star Memory pair, allowing new participants a chance to join in even if their best cards are not yet in hand.

Each Abyssal Chaos round lasts roughly an hour, presenting even seasoned players with challenges. To navigate the complexities and avoid repetitive paths, our team is diligently crafting comprehensive walkthroughs for each character and their respective endings within the deduced stories.

Helpful Tips and Hints for Abyssal Chaos

1. Save and return to your progress easily

Your adventure in Abyssal Chaos doesn’t have to be confined to a single sitting! You can have multiple ongoing instances of both commissions simultaneously. However, it’s crucial to finish or abandon a current deduction before starting a new one for the same commission.

For example, you can be midway through Find Tobias with Xavier and begin Final Farewell with Caleb. Yet, you cannot start Find Tobias with Sylus without completing or canceling your unfinished Xavier attempt first.

2. Maximize the potential of Trial companions

If a new weekly Trial character rolls out while you are mid-deduction, you can continue your ongoing commissions with any previously utilized Trial companions, provided you saved your progress.

If there is a specific Trial character you wish to explore but time restricts a full round, consider initiating a run to capture early progress before returning later. Playing through Abyssal Chaos with a Trial companion also earns you extra Companion Factors to unlock Companion Genes post-run. Therefore, even if you own the Myth version of a companion, experiencing their Trial variant can still offer valuable benefits.

3. Utilize both standard and Myth companions for completeness

To gain full access to Abyssal Chaos content, explore with both 5-Star Myth pairs and other unlocked companions. Using these Myth companions not only unlocks their unique combat kits but also rewards players with exclusive character skills. Keep in mind that the core commission story remains unchanged regardless of the companion kits employed.

By experimenting with 4-Star or 3-Star Solar Memories, you can activate any unlocked non-Mythical kits. Moreover, there are specific character skills tied to non-5-Star kits that are shared among them.

If your goal is to unlock all of Zayne’s skills in Abyssal Chaos, you need to play through the mode using both Master of Fate and Foreseer, as each provides distinct skills and Companion Genes as Myth companions. Skills acquired using non-Myth kits will contribute to skills and Companion Genes in Zayne’s shared 4-Star/3-Star pool.
