Shinji Hirako Joins Bleach: Rebirth of Souls Roster

Bandai Namco has officially announced the inclusion of Shinji Hirako as a playable character in the upcoming game Bleach: Rebirth of Souls. This exciting reveal took place during Jump Festa 2025. A newly released gameplay trailer spotlights the combat abilities and moveset of the Visored leader, showcasing his fighting style in action.

Gameplay Insights into Shinji Hirako’s Combat Style

The trailer opens with Shinji entering a combat scenario, quickly transitioning into a match against the iconic Ichigo Kurosaki. A notable feature of his gameplay is how his Signature Move is influenced by the state of his ability, Sakanade. When Sakanade is not enhanced, he utilizes a move called Such Fun, which serves both offensive and counter capabilities. However, if Sakanade is activated, it transforms into That’s Not It, which offers a chance for a back attack depending on the situational dynamics.

The gameplay continues with his Spiritual Pressure 1 Move, It’s Your Turn, which summons Hiyori Sarugaki to join the fray. Additionally, his Spiritual Pressure 2 attack involves the Sakanade Breaker technique, setting up potential combo opportunities. The trailer concludes with an impressive display of his Visored Awakening form.
