The world of Tamagotchi Plaza offers players an engaging experience starting with ten shops, each serving as a hub to attract customers and eventually upgrade to larger establishments. However, many players may be unaware that several hidden shops await discovery. Unlocking these secret shops adds a layer of excitement and challenge to the game. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to unlock all the secret shops in Tamagotchi Plaza.

Unlocking Secret Shops in Tamagotchi Plaza

After engaging with the minigames available at all ten initial shops in Tamagotchi Plaza, players gain access to two exclusive shops: the Sushi Shop and the Shuriken Shop. It’s important to note that these establishments are available solely in the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of the game.

To further expand your shopping options, upgrade all original shops to a Metchi level (two out of four stars), and then enhance specific shops to a Gotchi level (three out of four stars) to unlock two additional secret shops: The Afternoon Pool and the Glasses Galette Shop. Additionally, players are eager to discover the unlocking method for the hybrid Sushi Shuriken Shop, which combines elements from both the Sushi and Shuriken Shops.

How to Access the Sushi Shop and Shuriken Shop

Begin by ensuring you have visited each of the ten original shops in Tamahiko Town within Tamagotchi Plaza. To identify which shops you’ve yet to explore, refer to your map for guidance.

Once you’ve played the minigames in all locations, proceed to the road situated between your house and the Personal Training Gym.

Upon arrival, you’ll encounter both King Tamahiko and Princess Tamahiko. After your conversation, you’ll find two hidden shops accessible through the wooden doors near their location: the Sushi Shop and the Shuriken Shop.

These shops utilize the Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con features, requiring players to use motion and mouse controls to successfully serve sushi or perform dazzling Shuriken tricks. Expect a learning curve if you’re new to this control style!

Unlocking the Glasses Galette Shop

The Glasses Galette Shop can be accessed by upgrading both the Eyewear Shop and Galette Shop to the Gotchi level (three out of four stars).

Notes on the Sushi Shuriken Shop

Lastly, the Sushi Shuriken Shop rounds out the offerings exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. At present, the method to unlock this shop remains undiscovered, especially considering that neither the Sushi Shop nor the Shuriken Shop can be upgraded. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting development!
