Mark your calendars! The Lunar Awakening event for Diablo IV is set to return on February 4 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT, running until February 18. This exciting event is open to all players across both the Seasonal and Eternal Realms, offering an engaging experience that should not be missed.

How to Participate in the Event

Getting involved in the Lunar Awakening festivities is simple. Venture throughout Sanctuary to find and activate any Shrine, including those located in Nahantu. By doing so, players can enjoy a remarkable 100% bonus experience for a limited time of two minutes, alongside enhanced power while accumulating Ancestral Favor Reputation.

Explore Ked Bardu

For a deeper experience, head to the Northern region of Ked Bardu. Here, you will encounter Ying-Yue, the leader of the Lunar Night Market. She offers an array of rewards, allowing players to exchange their Ancestral Favor Reputation for Unceasing Gifts from Ancestors caches, as well as a variety of thematic Lunar Renewal decorations.

Finding and Activating Lunar Shrines

Across Sanctuary, players will discover Lunar Shrines that replace standard shrines during the event. To activate these shrines, you must fend off various monsters found in dungeons and the open world. Each activation grants a generous amount of Ancestral Favor Reputation, enhancing your overall experience in the game’s vast universe.

This year, the Lunar Shrines flaunt a festive redesign to celebrate the Year of the Snake. You can easily identify these shrines thanks to their distinctive appearance and unique map icon, ensuring players can locate them without excessive searching.
