He enthusiastically addressed the fanbase, stating, “You have been asking me for a personal sequel to our Atari AvP for 30 years… Funding, team in place. Production underway!” Alongside his announcement, Whittaker provided stunning key art featuring the iconic Xenomorph poised for action.

In his role as chief executive officer of Athena Worlds, Whittaker expressed the significance of this project during a recent press release.“This is a very personal journey for me, ”he stated.“There remains a massive following of our work on AvP, and for over three decades I’ve been urged to create my next survival and stealth strategy game. Thanks to generous support, I can finally bring this vision to life!”

Development Platforms and Team Insights

Xenomorph is set to be developed for multiple platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. As of now, no specific release date has been announced, leaving fans eagerly awaiting further updates.

The project has also appointed key leadership roles to guide its development. Notably, Mike Meaden will serve as the creative lead, while Blaire Wathen will take charge of character design, ensuring a robust and compelling gaming experience.
