The QCQ171 in Delta Force is a rapid-firing submachine gun (SMG) that combines versatility with a steep learning curve. Initially challenging for players, it shines in close-quarters combat, especially once equipped with the right attachments. With a notably fast and consistent time-to-kill (TTK) for body shots, the QCQ171 is a formidable choice for rapid engagements.

While it may not rival the top-tier SMGs in the game, this weapon strikes a balance by trading off long-range effectiveness for superior short-range firepower. However, players eager to wield the QCQ171 must navigate specific unlock requirements outside the standard leveling framework.

Unlocking the CQC171 in Delta Force

The QCQ171 is not available through conventional means as of Season Starfall; instead, it can be unlocked by participating in the special event called Arms Race – CQC171. This event is a limited-time offering that runs from January 18 to January 31. Thankfully, players will find that the tasks involved are straightforward, allowing them to achieve the requirements without dedicating excessive time to the event.

During the Arms Race – CQC171 event, players can engage in either of Delta Force’s primary game modes: Warfare or Operations. In the Warfare mode, progress is made by completing daily rotating challenges that earn players 25 points each. Accumulating a total of 100 points will successfully unlock the QCQ171.

In Operations mode, players must also reach 100 points by completing specific events and must additionally acquire the following items:

  • Antler Wall Decoration
  • Ancient Pirate Telescope
  • Firearm Parts
  • Screwdriver

To finalize the unlocking process, players need to extract with these items in their inventory, allowing the QCQ171 to become a craftable asset.

Is the QCQ171 Effective?

The QCQ171 does showcase some advantages, although it also presents challenges. One of the most significant drawbacks is its pronounced and unpredictable recoil pattern, making it a difficult weapon to control. If players modify the weapon to enhance Control and Stability, they may find that its handling—particularly the aim-down-sights (ADS) speed—takes a hit.

However, with no modifications, the QCQ171 boasts a remarkable TTK of just 0.23 seconds at a distance of 15 meters, positioning it competitively alongside renowned SMGs like the MP5 and Kris Vector. When fully upgraded to maximize Range, Control, and Stability, the QCQ171 yields an optimal body shot TTK of 0.25 seconds at 25 meters, making it the most lethal SMG at that distance among its peers.

Moreover, the bolt on the QCQ171 can be exchanged for a faster-firing CQC bolt or a slower variant that offers extended range, showcasing a valuable adaptability reminiscent of the CI-19, another top-tier assault rifle in Delta Force.

In conclusion, while the QCQ171 may pose challenges in handling compared to other SMGs, its exceptional time-to-kill can be highly advantageous. Ultimately, the effectiveness of this weapon hinges on player preference, as the importance of consistency often outweighs sheer TTK in real combat scenarios.
