Black Ops 6 Zombies Guide: Retrieving Pegasus’ Horseshoe Explained

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 introduces players to the thrilling Citadelle Des Morts map, the latest addition to its round-based zombie gameplay. Set in a beautifully ruined medieval castle, players are tasked with battling menacing undead enemies while exploring a world brimming with challenges and eerie surprises. As players strive to reach new high rounds, they will also take on the intricacies of the main Easter Egg quest, marking a significant leap in gameplay complexity.

Among these quests, the Easter Egg on Citadelle Des Morts is particularly intricate, filled with mind-bending puzzles that can stump even the most seasoned players. A critical step in progressing through this quest involves acquiring the Pegasus’ Horseshoe, a necessary item for initiating the Electric Ritual after obtaining the Flame Incantation. However, players will find this item is not easily located.

How To Acquire The Horseshoe

To retrieve the elusive Pegasus Horseshoe, players first need to locate it. This item is conveniently mounted at the entrance of the barn situated on the Hilltop, close to the Deadshot Daquiri Perk Machine. To acquire the horseshoe, players must use a Pack-a-Punched weapon to shoot it down, enabling them to pick it up once it falls to the ground.

How To Launch Yourself & Retrieve Pegasus’ Horseshoe

With the horseshoe in hand, the next step is to launch yourself to grab Pegasus’ Horseshoe. First, players need to head to the Rampart Cannon located at the Hillside Ramparts and then fast travel to the Town Square, which incurs a fee of 500 Essence.

Upon arriving in the Town Square, players should watch for a storm cloud in the sky, which usually appears above the Hillside. The Horseshoe will be directly below this cloud. To collect it, players need to position themselves beneath the cloud and press the use button to gather the item.

How To Initiate The Electric Ritual To Get The Electric Incantation

Now that players possess Pegasus’ Horseshoe, the moment has come to start the Electric Ritual. This can be done by heading to the glowing ritual rune situated beside the gateway from the Town Square to the Hilltop. Players should place the horseshoe in the rune, then eliminate nearby zombies to collect their souls and fill the rune.

Once the rune is filled with enough souls, a dazzling Incantation Box will emerge from the ground. Players can then strike the box with Durendal, their Electric Sword, to obtain the coveted Electric Incantation.
